someone suggested i post an introductory thread.
i am a married, rather young grandma of four precious rugrats, ages 2-9. i guess our only child son and his only child wife didn't want their own kids to be "onlies".
my other half and i married rather young (18 &22) and will be celebrating 31 years together this summer.. i am sort of add, keep thinking i am still 28, love my husband now more than ever, and am so glad i woke up and left the crazy cult.. my husband and i began studying months after marrying and then decided to take the dunk.

i've been absent a bit more than usual.. at qualcomm stadium, home of the chargers and the "special arrangement" with san diego which means they use the venue for free, you are not allowed to bring a tarp in the 80 degree sunshine, nor a large umbrella.. mercifully however, you may bring a small one person umbrella you can hold or perhaps vice to the seat, but if someone asks you to take it down, you are to oblige.
san diego is freaking out over this i can assure you.

earlier this morning, i posted off to the the institute of engineers an application for membership as an "engineering associate":.
- today being just over 40 years since the congregation's retards elders made me abandon my apprenticeship.. (in this part of the world, the pre-1975 hype was taken to that level.
not being content to prevent young persons attending university, they went one step further and treated with hostility any youngster who would "tie up five years of their lives" by entering into an apprenticeship.

I was out deep sea fishing with my dad. We were trolling. He was not wearing a life vest. I was standing next to him in the back of a 22 foot boat, when the boat, hit a wave and lurched. Dad lost his balance and was going over. I grabbed the back of his belt and held him, when he was in the air. Yes. I saved his life. My dad hated the water and was not a swimmer.

i just came back from vacation with my sister who is in her mid 40s and is an active jw, regular pioneer of many years.
while away, during one of our conversations, it bacame clear to me that my sister is lonely and doesn't have a social life.
she's too old to be included in the plans of the younger generation and, as she is not married, doesn't get included in the "marrieds" set.
krejames ... WT is all about do what I say, not what I do.
They told JW children 75 years ago, not to get married or to have children.
They were to slave for the WT instead.
I know an 80 year old sister you would never guess was 80. She has never even kissed a guy.
She is waiting until after Armageddon to proceed.
She was a good girl. My heart could break for her, it is so sad.
She has always given quality gifts at wedding showers and baby showers and is very hospitable. Always green hand shakes to the CO, DO and pioneers.
How is she thought of in her congo and circuit?
